Hee hee. Sorry, I didn't realize how long the other entry is, so I'll start a new one.
Anyway, we were in the restaurant. The waitress was like "Polson, party of two. This way please." She showed us to a table right next to the window (yay) where we were able to view the boats floating in the dock as well as families of ducks.
The waiter came by to take our order and he was really nice (and cute . Lidya told him that she was flat out vegan and asked what her menu choices were. He explained that she could have the tomato gazpach sans shrimp, grilled veggies for the main course and then fresh berries for dessert. I wimped out (lidya is trying to convert me to being a Vegan) and ordered a Gazpacho (tomato soup with veggies and shrimp), Chicken roulade (which didn't taste so good in the end) and a peach creme brulee.
Then we walked around a bit. Lidya tried to see if there was something she could buy for her mum but there wasn't so we returned. I was nervous as hell cause I thought they would really go through my purse to see if there was a camera in there. But nope, they just did a quick check and let me go in. I was like sweeet. Then there was the merchandise table. I was instantly attracted ***like a moth to the flame** How could you blame me? I knew that this would be my only chance anyway.
I ended up getting a programn for $10.00, a tee-shirt which said Angel for $30.00 and a big huge poster for $15.00. I really don't know how that came out to $45.00, I really should've gotten more cause the vendor looked distracted. I also wish I had gotten the other tee-shirt with the Corrs on it, but I was already running out of money at that point.
The usher showed us to our seats. I was so happy cause the 7th row wasn't as far away from the stage as I had thought. I was actually close enough to notice things which was rather good. By the time we had been seated, it was still somewhere around 7 ish and the sun was still lighting the sky.
Then the opening act came on. I can't think of her name right now. Oh man. Sophie B. Hawkins. She was very energetic if that was the appropriate term for it. She really tried hard to impress the audience. Although, I don't doubt her talent. She just had a different style of music that I wasn't used to. Well, actually I think she would've been better if she toned down her act. She was wagging her head all over the place and kept falling down to the floor a lot. There was one song though that I almost liked and then it got kinda wierd after that.
