Yay for Summer Sunshine!

The radio played Summer Sunshine! Yay! I wonder if they played my request for it yesterday, because I listened to the radio but I never heard them say my name. They might of said it and played Breathless instead which I did manage to catch. Oh well, at least they played it. I wonder how long it will last.

The rest of my birthday was kind of uneventful. I just stayed at home doing nothing much. Around the afternoon, my sister Nicole did come and brought this really nice tart for me. So I ended up getting two cakes! The second one was fancier with strawberries and kiwi on top and with chunks of chocolate sticking out in places. Then I got some more presents from my sis. Some plastic storage containers (which I probably needed because my crap is everywhere in my room) and two barbie dolls. One was princess of Ireland and the other was princess of Cambodia. We had to stick candles on the cake of course and since we had hardly any, we had to improvise with numbered candles (a 8,3,9, and two separate candles). I was anxious to get the new Corrs Cd as a present since I tried to buy it one time and my brother warned me not to because in his words "they were boring." At the time, Nic said that she had returned the cd because Otdom couldn't keep his mouth shut. So I was a little sad that I didn't get the cd.

Later I hung out with Kari and Josiah and they ended up taking me out to eat at California pizza grill. The pizza there was pretty good. I ordered a mushroomy pizza because I love shrooms! Afterwards we just walked around the mall and then went back to their house to watch Lilo and Stitch.

Today, I decided to buy the Corrs cd myself since I didn't get it for my birthday. I've only managed to listen to Summer Sunshine and Angel which is quite different and not what I expected but I like the fact that its not a terribly depressing song, but more upbeat. Then later I came back home and Nicole asked me where I went, when I told her that I got the Corrs cd she told me that she really had bought the cd and wanted to surprise me with it. Oh well...

On a side note, I also found out that for some odd reason, while I was chatting with my cousin in Cambodia, I am really 24 because they count the year you were born and the year before that. Which is rather odd, but anyway I am 22/24.

Okay, I'm done with all that now. I'm going to listen to the rest of my new Corrs Cd!
