HELP!!

Jan 18, 2013 20:42

Right, I'm trying to raise some cash for this 3-day brain anatomy course I want to go to in London in July. This is an unexpected expense since I just got an email about it yesterday, so it was definitely not budgeted for in my funds.

Given that I don't have a job (and don't have time to get one given my uni workload), have already booked a holiday to Paris for May, and won't get my Australian tax refund till July (by which time it'll be too late to book a place) I thought I'd try to sell this huge load of scarves, gloves, and hats that I got from a friend. I have 2 aims for this exercise:
1) to raise as much funds as possible towards the £395 it costs for the course (that's basically 1 months rent).
2) to find good homes for them (as they are good quality stuff), so I can get rid of the gigantic box that's been sitting in my dining room for the last 2 months.

There are some adult sized stuff, and a huge load of teenagers/kids/toddler/baby sized stuff. I really want to sell the kids stuff cos seriously, what am I going to do with them?? And yes, I've already picked out a whole load of stuff for myself. :P

Anyway, they are in sets or you can buy them individually if you want (though there are a few that's strictly in a set). £6 ($9) each piece or if you buy a set, you get a discount. (2 piece set for £10 ($15) and 3 piece set for £15 ($23)). They're made out of very soft synthetic fibres, so no worries about possible wool allergies. The mandarin fruit in the pic is for a scale comparison.

Postage is whatever Royal Mail charges, which shouldn't be more than £6 at the absolute max (unless you buy the whole lot, then I have no idea what that might costs to ship!). I'll be able to provide you an estimate once you let me know what you're getting.

If you need any more details about the item or whatnot, email me at bottlefeed at gmail dot com. Payment by PayPal or direct bank deposit if you're in the UK.

Scarf is quite small, probably for a 5-7YO. SOLD!

Petite adult size. Fits me with a weeeeee bit room to spare for the gloves.

Adult size

Adult size, same fabric as above, so you can mix and match if you want for your own ideal set. The scarf on this is not really a scarf, but those things where both ends are joined so it's a huge loop.

Various hats. Adult size, though if you have a big head, they might be a bit tight. Stretchable though, the top 2.

Various hats. Top cute little very pale pink baret with a bow is probably for a toddler or a bit older.
Brown beanie on the left probably teen or even adult.
Flappy hat is small child (7YO or so I'd think)

Pale pink baby blanket. No idea how big since it's all wrapped up nicely and I don't want to unwrap it. SOLD!

Set of baby's hat, scarf and mittens, with cute little flower on each. Goes very nicely with the baby blanket. This will be sold AS A SET ONLY.

Set of little girl's hat, scarf and gloves. For maybe 9-10YO? SET ONLY

Another set of little girl's hat, scarf and mittens. For maybe 6-7YO? SET ONLY

Random children's hat. Top 2 are about toddler size. Bottom white one is for maybe a 4-5YO?

Cute baby's hats.

Various hats: Top - Baby SOLD, Left - Toddler, Right - 4-5YO?

Top - 4-5YO I'd think?
The other 2, I have no idea what you call them. Stand alone hoods?? Probably for 5-7YOS depending on how big their head is?
