Just to pay for my new jacket, TBH. :P
Hand made hair clips/combs (which I've previously listed, but no harm putting them up again), and my old dSLR camera.
These are basically going at the cost rate.
Angel: $9.00
Red: $9.00
Garden: $7.50
Clip: $5.50
Goth: $11.00
Actually, I still have some leftover feathers, clips, hair combs, random flowers etc and the hot glue gun with a whole pack of glue. If anyone wants to take them off my hands and have fun with them, let me know and I'll see how much's left and what they're worth.
$90 (negotiable)
Olympus E510 Camera Body with battery, charger, cables (brand new), CD etc.
I've had this since Oct 2007 and it has been well loved. It's been to various conventions with me and have met many sci-fi stars including all of team SG1 ever (yes, even RDA himself), the SGA gang, most of the Sanctuary cast, a couple of Doctors and companions, all the Captains from the all the Trek series (Sir Patrick Stewart and The Shatner) etc etc. It has also been on trips with me all over the world including to Torchwood 3 secret base in Cardiff and a spin in Ten's TARDIS, so it's very well traveled.
But since Jan 12, it's been sick, with the shutter's making some rather weird croaking sound. The camera doctor has no idea what's wrong with it, just that to fix that sound, it'll require the camera's version of a triple bypass which costs more than this baby is worth. It's still taking photos and all the shots turn out like they're supposed to, and everything's still working except for that weird sound it makes every time it takes a photo. I couldn't stand listening to it, so I end up upgrading to the semi-pro bigger brother version (Olympus E-30).
If you always want to give dSLR a try but have been put off by how expensive it is, well, you can pick this up for a bargain price and just give it a test go until it dies, whenever that may be. Same set of equipment sold recently on ebay for $180+, which is why I'm putting this at $90 since its condition isn't at 100%. But as listed, price is negotiable.
The lens you need to start out with this camera is
the 14mm-42mm lens. (28mm-84mm equivalent to a 35mm camera) It's a fantastic lightweight beginner lens that is waaaaaay better than the equivalent starter lens from Canon or Nikon and it will fit most situation. You can get it off ebay brand new for less than $200. I don't know if I want to sell mine since I can still use it with my new camera. If you want it, let me know. Might be able to work something out. I will be looking at around $150 though since it also include a UV filter that retails for at least $50 and this lens is in perfect working order.
Also a reminder, heaps of books still for sale on LJ
here or on DW
here. Make sure to read the comments since there are a few that I haven't marked as sale, but others have indicated interest in them.
