So, my kid and I saw Mad Max: Fury Road (in 3D!) today.
I liked how Max basically didn't even matter. It was the Furiosa show, and the no-matter-what-he-does-nicholas-hoult-is-adorable show. I'm not that big a fan of the franchise and I'm not in love with the movie or anything, but it was a fun 2-hour chase scene with 100% more flame-spewing guitar.
Priceless: spending time with my kid in the middle of the day.
(In unrelated news, I have tickets to see Brian Setzer in June.)
ALSO: Writing more, based on the first feedback from one of my beta readers because I agreed with her comments wholeheartedly.
