Goth/Steampunk workshop meetup?
I'm getting into the steamy side of punk/goth and realized I don't really have anything to wear or use for props. I cannot afford a whole new Genre of oufits, mainly what I pick up at thrift stores and stuff.
I picked up some things from a flea market, mainly to make a ray gun as a prop, but I suck at painting and realize I don't personally know that many people into iT.
I'm suggesting maybe a meetup or get together at my or others houses to make things or go to thrift stores, flea markets, ect.
Maybe we can trade tips or help each other with projects. I'd love someone to go with me to get things and help put them together. I'm good at cobbleing, but suck at painting and electrical work.
Any takers? I am in Silverspring, MD not far from metro pickup.
