Oliver Benton made his ugly-walrus face at her one too many times; a shelf collapsed, and he was hit with a cascade of plastic paint jars.
"I just don't understand," flustered her class teacher, rushing to the bewildered child doused in green splatters. "That shelf is so sturdy! And I've always been so careful with the lids!"
While her classmates shrieked with laughter, Hermione ducked her head and kept on working.
Six sixes are thirty-six.
Seven sixes are forty-two.
She punished herself, because she felt that somebody ought to.
No pudding for a week.
