Fall 3: Turkey Day

[Mayfield Elementary: History]

[Well, it's that time again. It's time for history class. Up until now, Mr. Kashihara has been very... creative about his lessons. Most of his lessons, in fact, end up with the existence of aliens. It's a good thing you're past the section with Cortez and the Mayans which he cites as the period where humanity fully separated themselves from the two visiting alien races.

Today, he's talking about the history of Plymouth Rock and Thanksgiving. He goes into detail about the Native-Americans who signed treaties that heavily favored the pilgrims. Thanksgiving itself was the product of a small harvest of fish, Indian corn, venison, and numerous wild turkey of the lands. Interestingly, this lesson isn't as imaginative as the last one. In fact, it saves very little of the bloody truths.]

And now, class, I have a special treat for you all. Since it is Thanksgiving, I brought in this...

[From behind his desk, Kashihara pulls out a large tray and on it is... turkey, cut up into equal portions. He pulls out many plastic plates and forks and places a piece on them.]

My wife prepared it for all of you. Given the time of the month, I feel it's only relevant to have ourselves a party. We haven't had one all year, so why not now?

[Kashihara walks away and no doubt, the drones are the first to walk up in front of class for their plates. He returns to his desk and watches as his students eat.]

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Enjoy your turkey.
