Character name: Lovino Vargas (also goes by "Romano" and occasionally "South Italy" or "Italy Romano")

Fandom: Hetalia: Axis Powers
Point of Canon: Considering it's Hetalia, it doesn't really matter. Present-day, I guess?

Lovino is a tall guy who seems to be in his late teens. He has dark reddish-brown hair with a long curl out of the right side (his e-zone, no touching). His eyes are hazel-brown, but they used to be green. He dresses in any Italian clothes he can when he can, but will usually wear a khaki army uniform with a button-up black shirt under and a burgundy tie. And dark brown boots. He's usually see scowling and eating tomatoes or pizza. Emphasis on the scowling - you won't see much else.
Personality: Lovino is friendly and kind, possibly even flirtateous around women, but around men he is short-tempered, hard-headed and antisocial. He always pushes people away because he's afraid of being backstabbed. He's also paranoid about being alone. It's hard to gain his trust and easy to lose it again, because he distances himself whenever possible. He is also has a habit of speaking in profanity, particularly the words "bastard" and "dammit".
Lovino is a coward and not all that strong. He's very fast on his feet, and will stand his ground until his enemy deals the first strike, making it "their fault". Should someone (mainly pertaining to males) touch his e-zone curl, he will immidiately kick/punch/headbutt them, usually in the stomach, and his anger will give him strength to make them cough up blood.
As for verbal tics, he often swaps into Italian when he's angry or forgets the words in English/Common/w/e. He also has a habit of saying "chigi" or "chigigigi" when he's frustrated or when his curl is pulled.
Powers/Abilities: He's... a nation?
Lovino isn't all that great with his hands, but he's a good pickpocket.

Prose sample: Lovino paced around the fountain with a rushed pace. Part of him was nervous. Part of him was furious. Part of him just wanted to work off the extra energy.
Where the hell was he!? Where was Feli!? Where was that damn Potato Head and that idiota Spain!?
He kicked the fountain out of annoyance, and earn himself an injury added to insult. Damn it all! He sit down hard and held his foot up to rub it tenderly. "Fucking bastards, kidnapping me... where the hell am I....?"
He didn't remember much of anything. He remembered being in another fighting with the mafia, being knocked out, and somehow ending up here. Where was here? Where was Feli? Who was it that stuck him here!?
"Whatever happens... I have to stay alive..." Any other time Lovino would know he couldn't die, he was a nation, but in this place he wasn't so sure, "I have to find Feli.... no matter what..."
