Where's the love?
I thought about this for a very long time tonight... and I came to a conclusion. first I have to say what it is that got my brain spinning. I realized tonight at the Bane show, how little we actually care for one another. It seems like we no longer do anything out of true love for our friends and family. People will listen to your problems, not because they care to hear about your life, but because they want to have favor in your eyes. We no longer help each other out of kindness, only the hope of getting something in return. we have forgotten how to be humble. How to answer someone who compliments us, by saying "Thanks, I couldn't have done it without the help of...." The only thing I could think of that would cause such selfishness, is severe Narcissism. Becoming so egotistical that no one truly cares for anyone other than themselves. I want to change this, make myself care... truly care about the needs of others, and to show others that love really does make the difference. We have to learn how to honestly love people
