Sometimes I hate fanficrants. Sometimes I love them. Currently, that is the case. This shouldn't be that amusing, but it is. And it has convinced me to start writing Claire/Peter.

Yes, I am aware that it's incest. I'll also admit that I didn't start shipping them until after I knew they were related, and I generally dislike AUs or fics where they think they're related and then suddenly it turns out they're not. Am I fucked up? *shrugs* Probably. But I take amusement in this pairing. Even if life sucks, I can take comfort in fan fic.

I am woefully behind (my own goal) on my NaNo novel. I hit 13000 words. I wanted to hit 30000 words by today. I sort of lost my momentum...that and I got sort of stuck. *sigh* Want to randomly name ways to piss of vampires to the point that they swear revenge and try to hunt you down?

I could really use some.

Because of that stupid writers' strike, I am very worried about my television viewing in the next year. I admit that I agree with the writers, they do deserve to earn more than a freaking three cents for every DVD sold. But still...I want my shows! Just give in, networks! You're losing money, you're losing viewers and you're ruining the shows. Their request isn't unreasonable. Times have changed. Basing DVD production off of VHS production is just stupid. Fix things quickly, so we won't have to suffer through the next year without any TV that's worth watching. Because let me tell you- hell will freeze over before I start watching the reality tv shows. Even if they're the last thing on television.

...Of course, this might make me study more. Hmm...no. Not really. It just means I'll spend more time downloading movies and older shows that have already aired, like Angel and Smallville and...yeah. Other shows that will occur to me later.

On that note, I'm now on the sixth episode of Angel. Still can't get Agent Booth out of my head (and if I ever get caught up, I might just be tempted to do a cross-over), but the show is cute. I find it's more a thriller than a fantasy show, which I'm kind of mixed about- I think I'd prefer to see a bit more of the fantasy element, but I do enjoy the detective plot. Oh, and Cordelia's a bitch.
