I was reading the book "Stiff" last night, which is about cadavers, and I thought that this was a really interesting quote:
Marilena replies that she doesn't have a problem with heads. "For me, hands are hard." She loos up from what she's doing. "Because you're holding this disconnected hand, and it's holding you back."
Eerie, but very up my alley. I think anyway. People call me weird so much. I'm running out of clever things to say back to them. Now, I just sort of giggle and say, "I know."
I also tried to rent "The Fly", the 1986 version, from Blockbuster this afternoon, and they didn't fucking have it. It put me in a very irritated mood. But, hey, I'll live. For now.
And just to be sure that there is no confusion, Beaker is my favorite muppet ever.
