When It Rains, It Snows (Part IV)

I knew this day needed something to perk it up a little. Every day requires at least one bright spot you can look back on when you ask yourself at the end of the day if anything notable was accomplished - if that day was really necessary, as the popular t-shirt put it. Thus, in between my two classes, I traveled to the one place I knew would be a ( Read more... )

I am not sure if this is up your alley....

It was going to be a few albums long but I thought this would give you quite a bit to work with content wise, I havent wrote any lyrics for it yet, but there is some ones attempt at a song which I can show you at some point. The story starts off with a family, a boxer falling for a nurse, who takes car of him. They give birth to two sons, Rilo & Gavin. At the end of the first section the father dies, he is known as the "English Flame" Gavin tends to fallow in his fathers footsteps, and joins the war, he is also a weapons maker, he draws a lot of parallels with Iron Man. Rilo gose the other route and gets involved with medicine and the occult, he is feme with the lack of a fatherm he ends up becoming a killer, his mother knows but ignores it till one day she decides to end it by turning on the gas, knowing Rilo would come up for a smoke, she ods and kills herself, rilo comes up and the house gose up. Cops arrive to the scene and they find out all thats been going on.

Its a really dark story and dosnt lend to much to the indie sound but just a story I knew that was long.

Also I been meaning to do adaptions to "Othello" "Hamlet" and "Titus Andronicus" but you said your stearing away from like adaptions.

I have been listening to The Tain to get a feel and I am a tad tapped out of the muse at the moment. So a brand new story might be hard for me at the moment.

Depending on the influences we tend to use. I would like to through in either musical allusions to another song, or a cover that we can take out of context and yet fit it into our story. I always loved the idea of using a cover song to move along the story arch. If not for this epic prog album. I got a few covers i want to try and tackle with you, Tilly, Montreal, and this band The Paper Chase. lol for some reason I am into covering wierd bands :)

Also I am scared to show you my stuff cause your quite the talented writer.
