Alright.
I just saw the Village.
Bizarre. But in a good way. I think.
I liked it. A lot. Thank god Adrien Brody and Ron Howard's daughter (sorry I forget her name) made up for William Hurt's atrocious acting. Tanya's ferret Gir could have done a better job, and it would have been 10x more believable.
Say what you will about how apparently everyone and their mother "knew what the twist would be before they even saw it" (shut the fuck up) but I never saw that shit coming. but then again I am something of a slow individual......excuse me for not seeing such a blatantly OBVIOUS plot abomination that you can plainly see should be the first conclusion one would jump to the moment the opening credits start. Excuse. Me.
Oh yes, and Krystal will love it even if it can't compare to the majesty and Academy award winning performances featured in such high-brow cinematic feats of excellence such as 28 days later. John Candy RULES!!!
So I thought the Xtina Aguilera and my likeness of her that is invisible only to me was dying down, but in the past week I have heard this statement five times. In random checkout lines, at work.....ohhhh at work I got the best one. "you look like Christina Aguilera....but only during her Dirrrty phase." Everyone can stop saying anything even remotely positive about me, I have just received the greatest compliment of my life. Thank you.
Bitches, my hair was black and my nose was pierced waaaay before hers. I really think the only thing worse would be telling me I look like Amy Lee as someone told me this summer. they happened to be a relative so punching them teetered on being out of the question. Plus I'd get yelled at. Damn.
On that note, I'm going to gorge on cereal and take a nap.
Guess who gets two paychecks this week....oh, that's me. Hell yea.
