Omaha...somewhere in middle America
In a conversation with Dana about motivation and methods to accomplish tasks through punishment, he provides me with this suggestion:
"if you don't follow through, force yourself to stick your hand under the kitchen faucet on the hottest setting for thirty seconds or something that way you punish yourself, but you're also building your mental and physical pain threshold"
now if that isn't just the greatest advice I have ever heard.
Today:
I listened to a lot of music.
I ate lunch with a 96 year old woman and a 91 year old grandma.
I still have to clean.
I had yet another meaningful conversation with dana.
I am still bothered by the change in tone.
I am still caught up in change.
I am waiting for my a phone call that I am know won't come until at least Thursday but still hold out hope.
I miss some stuff.
Please, don't hurt me.
