Summary: Kate checks on the others each night.
She finds herself checking on the others each night after they return from Mumbai - seeing what Henry is working on, dropping by Will’s desk to ask a question, wandering by Magnus’s office. It’s a nervous habit, and she tries not to think about what it might mean or that she might care about them. She’s casual about it and is certain no one notices.
Bigfoot catches her after a few weeks and she’s quick to deny that she was checking on them. He grunts, almost laughing at her, and she scowls, blinking in surprise when he pats her on the shoulder, an understanding expression on his face.
