I’m a bit concerned about the world, more specifically humanity. Here’s why ( Read more... )

basics, huh? well even your "basics" really aren't basics these days. something so simple as cooking your own meal can be quite complicated. i mean, have you seen some of the stoves/ovens they have these days? or even grills if you're opting for an outdoor meal. seriously... the grills especially, have gone the furthest with coolers and sinks built right into them now. and sporting events? i hope you mean the real ones, outdoors, cause watching them on tv doesn't count. with high definition, flat screens, picture in picture, and all in one remotes, yadda yadda yadda, tv is no longer anything of a basic. but then again, i'm just saying sporting events on tv becasue of the immediate reference afterward describing a game one might like to call grand theft auto.

and on one last note... those water bottle holders... maybe suzie-Q is an avid biker, or hiker, our outdoors type woman, and that's why she has what she has. it's pretty resourceful, i'd say. (and they do come in quite handy, as i have one of my own) i don't think she should be considered any lazier than the next simply because she's using her pack to hold her water. it'd be like putting a water bottle in your purse, or a backpack, which is something most of us have done, and i'm sure you are no different. i know i'm not. a built in refridgerator in your couch... that's lazy. (and yes, they have them) a water holder to keep your hands free at the state fair... not so much.

and that's my take.

It's the principle that someone actually invested something that to hold their waterbottle. Most people don't buy a purse for the sole purpose of putting a water bottle in it at the fair. And I already gave her props for her water bottle cantina holder..so back off ;)

you're right... people don't buy purses for that sole purpose. but the inventor wasn't thinking... "oh i'm gonna make a water bottle holder for people who go to the fair." it's not marketed as a fair water bottle holder. it's just a lady using her resources with something that she has for another purpose.

you could use this excuse for anything. you're too lazy to carry your wallet? so you bought a purse? *phhh* you're too lazy to carry a couple of books? so you bought a backpack? *phhh*

and um, that's my point.
