Kevin/Scotty Tears and Fears 1/3.

Kevin stood frozen to the spot the phone still held in his left hand which shook as waves of emotion washed over him as he tried to process what Tommy had rung to tell him his mother was dead and he was lost as to what it meant fully putting the phone back onto it's cradle with a click and turned to face the man he loved "She's gone she mom's gone she died this morning at some early hour I need to go to the house my family need me" Kevin said and he hurried through the bedroom and began to hurriedly chuck things into his suitcase with such speed that Scotty became concerned and grabbed his hand taking the balled up socks out of his grip and putting them down onto the neat bedspread.
"Kevin please take it slowly your scaring me love." Scotty said sitting down on the bed and pulling Kevin down beside him and wrapped his arms around Kevin who simply sat there not knowing how to respond to the hug Scotty pulled back moments later and gazed into Kevin's grey blue eyes seeing all the different emotions bubbling away in them he sighed and knew that his husband needed to be with his family that night and so drove Kevin to the house and dropped him off before leaving promising to be back the next day to do all he could to help with the arrangements if he could be of any use at all when he got back to the apartment and realized he was alone that's when it hit him and his emotions took over picking up the phone he called Quinn and Mario and then Jordan and they promised to be with him within the hour he picked himself up off the couch and went through to the bathroom to shower he had a good cry in there then composing himself dried off and dressed in his lounging clothes and slippers and waited for them all to arrive Quinn and Mario arrived first and Scotty struggled to keep it together it was when Jordan arrived that his composure finally broke and he was soon in the comforting embrace of both Quinn and Mario it was into this scene that Kevin walked and he then realized just how hard Scotty was taking the news about Nora and he sighed he had been nothing but selfish and he knew it right enough and had asked Tommy to bring him home to the man who would be there for him no matter what but was Scotty really strong enough to support Kevin and himself?.
