So I spent all day thinking to myself about the attacks. I use to frequent the stops that were hit today, it never once crossed my mind that a bomb would go off. I always had in the back of my mind that they were potential targets and I was always a vigilante passenger, but I never expected it to happen. I also thought that Londoners are tough, and they handle today quite well. They need our sympathy, but this does not go with out saying they were frequently attacked in the 80s and 90s by the IRA and during World War 2, (The Battle of London,)by V2 bombs and bombers. They moved on, our sympathies went out to them, but that is how war is. Yes it is a new type of war, but we brought it to the home front by taking it to their homefront. Now I am not saying any acts of violence is ok in my book. The lose of innocent life is horrific, and if i could, I would try and make peace with those we feel we need to press our ideals on. BUT these recent attacks in no way, should hinder anyones travel abroad or around the united states. It should not make people worry if they will be next, or where the next strike will be. What it should do, is just make us stronger, move on to the next day, and make us realize that globalization has made the world that much smaller.
That is my piece of mind
