Yes, this is what my writing has degenerated into.
Life is dreamy. I am awake in the morning now, and soon I will be leaving for work. It's the weekend! Sunday afternoon I am working; going to a play with the residents. Then Monday will be off. So in a way it's exciting.

According to this guy being interview on NPR, this generation is the most progressive voting generation in history. Young people are very politically aware, apparently.
