I loved this chapter so much. Oh, the feels!
-Poor Brenda...the antagonism that's back between B and S totally kills me, because they made such progress on the show, and it seems so realistic that all the work they did would be undone due to a little Brenda-ness and a heavy dose of insecurity. Oh Sharon...you're not foolin' anyone.
-I just wanted to hug Brenda after that whole awkward dinner. I'm totally cringing on her behalf.
-I loved the reminiscing about B in the murder room, and the fact that it got to Sharon the way it did. I think you've created such a great mixture of animosity and insecurity and miscommunication, and it's clearly going to lead to some great interactions when B enters the picture again.
-I LOVE the case you've written, and just how intense the whole thing is for every member of the team. I can't wait to see how this plays out, especially once Brenda gets a whiff of the Stroh parallels. Loose cannon, anyone? It's going to be excellent.
-OMG the way you write Rusty/Sharon is probably my favorite thing in the chapter. You've captured his voice so well. Rusty is such a complicated character, and you have really done him justice so far.
To sum up: I LOVED this chapter, and I'm so excited about this story (and all of the writing projects you've got going...especially that one, what's it called? Since you went away? i really like that one...) I'm also glad that people have been so great about commenting...if anyone deserves the accolades, it's you.
