I just spent the day with my family shopping and eating far too much.
I have a tendency to forget how great they are sometimes.
In the hustle and bustle of all that matters very little...I forget.
So...they're great.
I find myself strangely restless more often than not...and waiting waiting waiting.
When I was in Edinboro I had this glorious plan of dropping out and traveling.
I thought I would make art and sell things and live this life of excitement and spontenaity.
ha.
Its okay though.
Because instead a lot of good things have happened since.
Everything happens for a reason blah blah blah.
Anyways.
I regret to report I am proud I've grown up.
I still make most of my descions with my heart but every so often I'll make a few responsible
choices and this is sure fire proof that I have grown.
I spoke with Rebecca, my advisor/professor/someone I respect more than most and we decided I should apply to study a semester in Rome.
According to freaking facebook kids are doing this left and right.
I need to get rid of that thing.
But I applied about a month and a half ago and Ive been doing playing the waiting game ever since.
A semester studying Art in Rome.
All I can do is hope that Karma will finally be on my side.
This summer so far I have worked and quit my job at the Knick.
Taken up book binding.
and journal making.
recevied a lot of wonderful postcards from a lot of places Id like to see.
had a lot of time to sleep in
and nap
and lay around in the sun
read
and write
My job at the daycare is going swell and I kind of love every tiresome minute of it.
except on pasta days
I have a new nephew
and a niece that is becoming smarter and smarter every second of the day
Ive had a ton of fun with eileen
and have been trying to convince her to move here
i head to the beach next friday.
with the boy i love.
and his family
who i adore.
Im looking forward to all things to come.
and crossing my fingers and toes that Rome will accept me.
So I can stop talking. and start doing for the first time...probably ever.
Glorious summer! I am loving every moment.
Til next time.
