Everyday We Hustlin'

We're standing in line in Austin while MGMT is playing.  How do you say "MGMT?"  I thought it was "M-G-M-T," but my sister said some people pronounce it "Management."  Which makes sense because that was the abbreviation for the management classes at Trinity University, where I went for undergrad.  And why wouldn't both institutions have the same idea?

I like it when I'm at Forever21 and "Kids" starts playing over the speakers.  I feel it makes me shop better.

People and Pups in Party Dresses.

It was my dad's 50th birthday.  We made everyone dress up.  But we didn't make them look like an egg and Kim Jong Il.  They did that on their own.

SISTERS.

My sister and I haven't lived in the same city since 2000, but whenever we get together, we greet each other with, "SISTERS!"

I don't know exactly when this started, but it originated from a Wal-Mart commercial where this woman and her sister both saved money by shopping at Wal-Mart and at some point in the commercial, they both go, "SISTERS!"

Now it's just funny.  But both of us have a strong aversion towards Wal-Mart.

The People I Hang Out with on a Semi-Regular Basis (Despite Acting Like This)

I invited these people to come with me to the Museum of Fine Arts for one of their Mixed Media events, which featured Voxtrot this month (who are OK I GUESS; I'D LISTEN TO THEM IF I HAD TO).

In My Elevator

We initially were going to go out after the museum event, but after a night of free drinks, Whataburger sounded like a much better option.

Is it "Whut-A-Burger," or "Waddaburger?"  I say "wadda."  But I've been corrected before.

Heart of Gold

Then we go home to eat our chicken strips and breakfast taquitos, but not before making the dogs wear clothes and things on their head.

I have a habit of letting Uno eat people-food when I come home drunk, which is usually a big no-no at any other time.  I let him have a tiny TINY piece of chicken strip and he proceeded to have diarrhea on my sister's shoe the next morning.

Uno looks familiar in this picture.  Maybe like this?

I'm not sure.
