RC IS THE MOST AWESOMEST EVER!!!!
i absolutely LOVE southwick weekend! guess who got to meet ricky carmichael. just guess. me! i did!!! not only did i meet him, i got his autograph and i got a picture with him!!!! honestly one of the most exciting moments of my life. wow. i was kind of shaking. my mom got a picture of me afterwards too with just such the most enormous smile on my face. pretty much the biggest dork. but i met ricky fricken carmichael! he's only like, my favorite motocross rider!! anyway, other exciting moments of the day..i got davi milsaps autograph too...but i felt kind of bad because i didnt actually know who he was..i just saw he was giving them, so i got one! then i looked him up in the book afterward, and he is my age! i was pretty surprised. i mean, he's cute, like i guess he is my age, but i was like wow. the only problem was that of the one 250 race we saw, ricky didnt win. i felt really bad because he was having a perfect season up until today. he went down towards the beginning of the race and got back in at like, 9th place. he was able to work his way up to second, but he couldnt get back up to first. o well. and we only got to see one 125 race too. we had to leave early because my mom's cousins came from holland today, and we all had to go to my uncle's house for dinner to meet them. they were nice, but i would have rather been sweating and getting a sunburn out at the track... but in the 125, i was looking through my book and there was this guy mike alessi who was a 125 rider and he was my age, and i thought that was pretty cool, so i picked him to be my favorite, and then when he started the race, he got the holeshot, and i was really excited because that meant he was actually good! and as if i wasnt happy enough, he had an orange suit. seriously, so perfect. so he won that race. i was quite excited. and yesterday we saw a few of the prelims, but last night we went out to dinner with miss champagne and her mom!! woo. so fun!! i havent seen her since tristans birthday, and before that i hadnt seen her since like, september! so we had a really good time. it was so fun just to see her and we just talked the whole time. i was really glad we got to see her!! needless to say, this weekend has been pretty awesome. even if i did get a bit of a sunburn, its so worth it!!
