014- Radio Transmission

[After a bit of static, there's the sound of a door being opened and then a woman's voice.] "You didn't show up at the- you're brooding again."

[After a marked period of silence, a man answers, neither rude nor honest sounding.] "Sorry."

[There's another period of silence.] "Do you want me to go?"

[There is a rustling of pages and a small thud, a book hitting a table.] "No."

"...stop that." [A slight rustle of clothes, as though someone is embracing someone else.] "Is it Gene?"

"It's happened to others before. Everyone says he'll be fine, but I can't help but think..." [He cuts off.] "You know."

"I do. And I know that it would be trite of me to dismiss your concerns considering the circumstances, but you have to trust that he'll be alright. He's your brother." [A pause, maybe the slight sound of a hand touching a cheek.] "Everyone else this happened to woke up. There's nothing to suggest that it won't be the same with him."

[There is more shuffling of clothing, and muffled sounds that are obvious to anyone who knows anything about kissing that a kiss is being exchanged. When the man speaks again, a bit more laid-back this time.] "Thank you."

"You don't need to thank me. What sort of woman leaves her man to fend for himself in a crisis?"

((Gasp! A few people didn't notice Gene's voice over the radio just a bit ago. Blue is Target and green is Lockon.))
