SOME STORIES I WROTE RECENTLY

idk, I guess I'm pretty good at coming up with BRILLIANT PLOTS under pressure~

Once there was a bumblebee who was intent on pollinating all the flowers in the field. But when he got to this one huge flower bush, there were all these spiders all over it, and they were like THIS IS OURS so the bee felt very sad that he couldn't finish his quest. So he went back to the hive and told his friends and they said YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE THEM LET YOU DO YOUR JOB but the bee was too scared of the spiders and their scary eyes.

So instead he went out for a drink! and lo, there was a spider there. The bee was really unsure about talking to the spider for a while, but the spider did some karaoke and the bee was really impressed so he went up to the spider and was like "You sing Eye of the Tiger really well!" so then they started chatting and the bee eventually told the spider his problem. Well, it turned out that the spider didn't like the other spiders in the bush, so he decided to help the bee out. They decked the bee out in a fantastic spider costume and made a deal to meet the next day to infiltrate.

The bee got there bright and early in his badass spider costume, but-- the spider never showed! The bee started to panic, especially when the other spiders started to eye him oddly, but he eventually just decided to GO FOR IT so he walked into the bush all casually like and started sniffing the flowers and doing his thing. He almost got in trouble a few times, when some spiders were like "jeez guy what're you doing, those flowers are boRING" but the bee covered his tracks just by going all "bahaha ikr"

So eventually the bee managed to pollinate all the flowers in the bush and he started to head back to his hive, kind of forgetting about the karaoke-spider and how he never showed.

BUT THEN on his way back he saw a big group of bees surrounding a spider and almost stinging and killing the spider! The bee didn't even realize he was still wearing his spider costume, but he swooped in as soon as he realized that the spider his fellow bees were surrounding was HIS FRIEND!! So he swooped in and was like NOOOO DON'T DO IT but the other bees thought our friend the bee was a spider so they started to attack him too :(
But then the bee pulled off his costume and was like DON'T YOU SEE, WE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE, WE JUST NEED TO GET ALONG AND WORK TOGETHER, THIS SPIDER HELPED ME MORE THAN YOU GUYS EVER DID :(

and then the bees felt bad and the spiders heard the speech and then they were all bff

THE END

Once upon a time there was a cowboy who didn't know how to speak. All his friends, from the mare in the stable to the Brit in the bed, tried to teach him but the cowboy just couldn't figure it out. He would open his mouth and move his tongue and lips, and try to imitate the sounds that everyone else could make, but there was no doing. The cowboy would often get very frustrated and leave for a time to go shoot things with his gun or herd sheep on his own.

While on one of these trips, though, the cowboy was hunting along a river. The river was very high and very loud and the rapids were all over the place. He was trying to figure out the tracks of a deer, but the cowboy was distracted by shouts of pain and panic up-river. He ran along the banks of the river and saw a young girl trapped in some rapids, marooned on a big rock in the middle of the wide river, with a large tree branch on top of her legs. The cowboy didn't hesitate: he took off his gear, balancing his hat and gun against a tree, and dove right into the river.

It was colder, wetter and fiercer than he expected, but the cowboy was determined to save the little girl, no matter what. The swim toward the middle of the river seemed to take forever, but he finally made it to the rock and to the girl. Hefting the branch away from her leg, he motioned for the girl to wrap her arms around his neck. She was terrified, shivering and crying loudly, moaning for her mom and dad. The cowboy tried to comfort her, but knew what they really needed was to get out of the river right then. So he started the swim back to shore, which was even harder this time, with the water-logged and terrified girl clinging to his back.

By the time he pushed the girl onto the bank, the cowboy was feeling weak and completely exhausted, barely able to pull himself onto dry land. He covered her in the coat he had taken off before diving into save her, picked her up and quickly made his way back to town.

The whole town had been just about to go search for the girl, whose parents were panicking and worried for their only child, when the cowboy stumbled in to the square, shivering down to his bones, holding the girl close to his chest. Everyone was shocked to see the speechless cowboy, to realize he had saved the girl out of instinct and the kindness of his heart. It was then they realized that despite his differences, despite his inabilities, it was actions that spoke louder than words.
