BEST MONDAY EVER!!!!!
So today at work Karen walks up to me and saids her friend has free tickets to Alice in chains & Velvet Revolver but i had to work tonight. so i kinda mentioned and asked if i could leave to go to the concert to my sup Debbie and she was like Ummm NO cuz i was closing up the department tonight. So i did what any other little kid would do. I ask the other sup Tony and i saw him thinking and i just new he would want to come so finally Tony said ask Josh if he could close up shop tonight. I asked josh and he was kinda hesitant but said yes ( i mean its AIC and VR ). So tony let me leave work at 6:30 with karen with only 4 hours of working. Tony said to us as we left saying enjoy the show for me too. It made me said cuz i knew Tony wanted to go too but she couldnt. :(
So Karen and I left work, went to her place and headed to the concert. We meet up with Karen's friend who had the tickets and then proceed to the lawn :D Alice started and i was very impressed with the lead singer despite the rain and this drunken over weight girl who kept on slipping in the mud. She was half of the entertainment during the set. Then we get a call from Karen's friend who said they have seating inside for us. Met up with her again and got the other tickets and moseyed around a bit in the quest for alcohol. Then i bumped into 2 friends from HS (Michelle and her sister Angela) they were on the same quest as us but they were underage so Karen volunteered to get them some. Chatted with them for a while and then made our way to our seat. VR came on and it was ROCKIN!!! It was like watching 3 bands at once. They played their own stuff PLUS 2 STP song and 3 guns and roses songs too. and as me and karen left i told her i wanted to beat the traffic so we proceed out when they played a one last song with was a Pink Floyd song.
Drove her back to her moms cuz we locked herself out of her apt. and went to her place. we then played harry potter Order of the Phoenix till about 2 am. Now i am home and an going to sleep now..
