[When the feed clicks on, Snake's battling with a Trainer-- A Poketaku (Poke Maniac), to be more precise. The battle is between Solid the Onix and a Scyther.
Looks like the Scyther's pretty warn down already. Snake smirks, pointing forward.]
Solid, bind it!
[The large rock snake lets out a roar before tossing its tail forward-- But the attack misses when Scyther leaps out of the way!]
Scyther, use Fury Cutter!!
[With a cry, the Mantis-Pokemon leaps forward, expertly slashing at Solid's rocky body. ... It's not very effective. Snake tightens his fists.]
Solid, use DragonBreath! Engulf Scyther. [The Scyther suddenly looks more than a little anxious, turning to flee, but finds itself unable to as Solid unleashes blue flames around the insect, reducing its HP to zero almost immediately. Scyther, with a pitiful sound, falls to the ground.]
OH NOOOOOO!!
[Solid, pleased with himself, looks at Snake, wagging its large tail. Snake frowns a bit, hoping Solid won't attempt to "hug" him again. The Poketaku, thoroughly embarrassed, wanders over and gives Snake some Pokedollars.]
You're pretty good. Hey, let's exchange phone numbers! I intend to get a lot stronger with SCYTHER, so if you're around, we can battle again. Okay?
