Messing with childrens heads
Real good article in Macleans Magazine from Jan 1st. Front cover story called Why do we dress our daughters like skanks? I really recommend you people read it especially the moms of girls on my lj freinds list. A part that really sticks out in my mind is the classic pointing out that young girls want to imitate older girls but yet older girls keep using what is intended to be young girl looks but dressing it down so its a continuing circle feeding off of itself.
And for the parents of boys, please do not do things like convince your son like my brother in law has with my nephew that, only boys play with light sabers. Hell in Revenge of the Sith what where there at least 4 female jedi shown in that movie. Just another dumb male imprinting on a young impressionable male.
