On Thursday, I went adventuring in...
...Liverpool!
Liverpool has a proud martime history...
I was classy and went to the Tate at Albert Dock. Albert docks was quite pretty, but what you can't see from the photos is that where the classy shops should be, it's actually full of tacky gift shops!
Aside from the Tate, I went to the Martime museum next door, which was full of interesting wartime propaganda...
Unfortunately, I forgot to get any pictures from the HM Revenues and Customs museum, but I saw many an exhibit showing how people like to smuggle Cocaine into the country. A bottle of overproof rum from Jamaica is apparently all you need!
I also got to see Lulu, she was playing at being Ugly Betty...
Alas, after drinking with Lu my day was almost at an end. It's not all bad though, as I got to see the Mersey at Runcorn an sundown, which is my favourite bit about visiting Liverpool.
And so concludes a day of fun.
In other news, I've fired off yet more CVs to Korea. When I know when I'm off, you shall be cordially invited to a piss up of epic proportions in either Manchester or Stoke!
