Hi to anyone who is sooooo diligent about reading this poor dead thing I called a journal once! I just may have the time to put to it, so you never know, there may be update after update again! Stay tuned!
I find myself happily with a new job! I am forever and ever AMEN out of the mortgage broker business as it SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe I really wasted 3 years of my life trying to become something I am not. I don't want to bore you with the gory details, but suffice to say that mortgage brokers have to do things sometimes that I didn't want to do. SIGH...SO....
I am now working for a CPA firm in its' investment division as a "Wealth Care Assistant". It is indeed as unimportant as it sounds, and is merely a cool title for an Admin, lol. However, my boss is sending me to Dallas for 2 days worth of traning at their Broker/Dealer shop, 1st Global, and I look forward to that. Dallas in the fall has to be oh so much better than Dallas in the summer. My BIL lives in TX, and he says it's hotter than hell there!!
I quit writing a journal because I have become involved in multiple on-line message boards. Two of them are about Yorkies, and one started out through one of the Yorkie sites when 10 people got sick of it and started their own site. I really like that one. It's exclusive, and I feel privilaged to be a part of this little yorkie ya-ya sisterhood, lol.
As for me, I am still into the doggies. We will be doing another MeetUp on October 28th, and I am hoping it is as well received and as fun as the one in April was. There should be some pictures of that one back in my archives of this site somewhere. Too cute!
Dave is doing well, and recently found out that Nanya wants to renew his one year contract. Too funny! We were certain in November of 2003 that all he would be doing is one year, and now here he is about to go into his 4th! So much for being "retired". Hey, the money's good and he keeps his brain working. Plus being self-employed gives him the opportunity to continue building the retirement fund. Good deal all around! He is still building acoustic guitars, and is finally considering doing some for hire. I cannot wait until he sells his first one! I will be so proud. Hey, I already am! Sometime soon I will make a separate post to show you his guitars. Very nice!
Jen and Todd and the babes moved into a new house! It's gorgeous, just gorgeous and I love it there! I helped Jen set up when she first moved in, and spent two days unpacking boxes and having tons of fun with her. I just love that girl.
Well that's enough for now, dontcha think??
PEACE!!!
