I apologize to anyone who has become frustrated recently by making the effort to actually open my journal, only to be disgusted at the fact that I could not make even the smallest effort to update with one liners, thoughts, notes, ANYTHING in recent months. My excuse is that since we have gotten our yorkie pup Wosie, I also found a on-line public message board called Yorkietalk.com that I have become completely addicted to, and have been spending ALL my time on, ask Dave. Drives him nuts, lol.
Wosie is a trip. We got her at 8 weeks, and she has been a non-stop bundle of energy ever since. Darek describes holding her like "trying to hold an excited ferret that has swallowed a gyroscope", which of course is a fitting description. She is now 7 months old, and still exuberant as ever, despite the fact that she broke her leg in November and was slowed only slightly by the healing process.
Because of the fact that she needed to indeed heal and was supposed to be limited in movement, I got her a front pack and proceeded to carry her with me everywhere, thus taking the pressure off her leg and allowing her to heal properly. However, in the process, I created a monster. She is completely MY DOG now and will not allow me to be out of her sight without protesting. This made Dave feel rather deprived of Yorkie love, so we recently adopted a 4 year old female named Dreama a week ago. The girls are slowly becoming friends, and we are very happy to have them both! Here's some pictures!
Wosie as a pup. SO TINY!
Wosie at 7 months old. She's still pretty little at four and a half pounds.
Darek with Wosie when he came here for my birthday. Love at first sight!
Dreama and Wosie meet for the first time.

Look at the look on Dave's face! Do you think he is in love???
All the STUFF Dreama came with!! We only paid $200 for the dog and her stuff! WOW!!
Girls playing! Hooray!
Well, hope you enjoyed the pics! I have so much more to say, but will post later. I have to go study for my scuba class final exam today!!
