(no subject)
God its been a long time since I've written in here. In August/September, I'm going to Hawaii to meet M when they get back. I'm hoping we can spend a couple of days there before we head back to the mainland. Depends on the finances. I won't know the exact dates until it gets much closer. In about five months. In the meantime, I'll be doing a few different things at work. I'm going to be taking a writing course next month so I can proofread the stuff the other people want me to program in as standard letters. I'm planning on taking on some new jobs so I can get out of the rut I'm in. That is if my boss lets me. Right now, he owes me big time.
Ya know, I've come to the conclusion that men should not be allowed to hire anyone. They just can't see beyond blond and reasonably good looking. My boss was looking for someone to "revolutionize" this particular job. They would need to be a self starter and be able to work with all types of people with an ability to speak in front of groups etc. What he hired was someone who is the worlds biggest gossip. She comes in to work whenever she damn well feels like it, yabbers on the phone for hours at a time with her baby sitter. (Which makes me want to know who this person is because if she spends that much time on the phone with just one parent, she has several children that she watches, she sure as hell is not watching the kids.) Then we have the people that just stop in to chat. Granted there's only two but they never stay for less than an hour. So basically she doesn't work. She hasn't met her work quota, not even close. She treats everyone except the two people she hangs out with like something she found under a rock. She's typically rude and nasty to everyone. And I'm going to have to work with her. WHAT WAS HE THINKING??? Did he not check with anyone? After all she's been right down the hall for months. Did he not pay any attention? Or is he just deaf, dumb, and blind? And I mean dumb as in STUPID!
Ok, enough of that rant. But geeze, and people wonder why I don't want a man hanging around. Beautiful creatures, men. But shit for brains.
