Color Your World: Chartreuse
So kunli tagged me in this color meme, which was so much fun! But my color was ridiculously hard D: (Still had fun doing it though!) So with no more complaining, here is my list of 10 favorite things, in no particular order.
First up: fun socks
Seriously, even though I love summer so much more than winter, the one thin I miss in the summer is the ability to wear fun knee-high socks.
Second: Dell laptops
Yes I know their battery life is horrible and a lot of people hate on them, but I love my baby. (And yes, this picture is technically "Jade green," but chartreuse is a difficult color!)
Third: soap
Specifically fun soap, because it makes me feel like a little kid again (like I don't always already). And when I googled this and saw dinosaurs, I knew that was where it's at. Sure glad there wasn't a Velociraptor...
Fourth: polka dots
I'll never understand what makes one combination of colors and shapes so appealing to one person and so displeasing to another, but damn it all if I don't love polka dots and hate plaid <-- actually a byproduct of Catholic education.
Fifth: frosting
The cupcake was made so that icing had a place to sit, after all. Plus, it's cupcakes on a tie lololol. I'm thinking best Father's Day gift evarrrrr?
Sixth: dresses/skirts
Don't get me wrong, I love jeans/shorts, but I also love twirling around in a skirt like a little girl.
Seventh: things that make me squee
I hate peas, but that's fucking adorable.
Eighth: flipflops
1. I only wear them when it's summer (and yay summer!) 2. They were created for lazy people. Perrrrrrfect.
Ninth: Books
I've never heard of this book, nor the "Chet Gecko Mystery" series. But it's all that came up when I googled "chartreuse books" and cracked me up. And I love books entirely too much, being an English major and all.
Tenth: decorating the Christmas tree with my family
We seem to do it later and later every year, but we always decorate the tree as a family. They even waited for me while I was away for the first time! Then my family eats a finger-food dinner under the tree while listening to Christmas music/watching a Christmas movie. Good times :)
