Day 14 - Favorite male character
Barney Stinson - How I Met Your Mother - This one was a hard for me, gang. I still don't know if Barney is my end-all, be-all, of male characters, especially since he's such an utter player in most respects. But... It's Barney! The guy who will fly to San Francisco to keep his friends together! Who had his heart broken by an evil hippie! Who made Robin a video-resume of awesomeness! Who made Ted lick the Liberty Bell! Who does magic and has the best one-liners known to man! Admittedly, "How I Met Your Mother" has been iffy lately, but Barney (and NPH) has been consistently fantastic. Granted, I love the character most when he's forced to straddle the line between ridiculousness and genuine depth, and it isn't something the writers have been able to pull off to my satisfaction (smuggery goes here!) these past few seasons. Regardless, Barney at his best is the biggest bad-ass of them all. Because he's just that awesome.
