Day 10 - A show you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving
Chuck - (I've actually written about "Chuck" before - I had forgotten about that! In any case - it's cool!) One day someone told me about "Chuck." Their description was something like so: "OMG, Myranda! You have to watch this show called "Chuck"! There's this computer geek who gets a computer stuck in his head (CRAZY, RITE?!?!), and then he becomes a spy and spends a lot of time with this hot blond chick!"
To say the least, I wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea. And then he added, "Oh, and Adam Baldwin is in it." Being the "Firefly" geek I am, I immediately got my hands on the entire first season, doubts be damned.
And man, am I glad that I did. "Chuck" is a blast, pure and simple. Zachery Levi as Chuck is one of the most endearing main characters I've seen on a TV show, and I always find myself rooting for him. Whether I want him to dismantle the bomb, fix the computer, get the girl, or make out with Casey, I'm always on his side. And honestly, that's awesome. Add to that the show's quirky sense of humor, the unforgettable supporting cast, and the general fun I have while watching it, this one's a true gem, and I'm really glad I started watching it despite my initial misgivings. What's more, I'm equally glad that this underdog is back for a fourth season! Woot!!!
