Started running last week, am now up to 3 mile runs from 2 miles. I am running my first race ever on March 13th, 10k. This is my proposed running plan on how to get there:
Week of Feb 21st:
2 mile run at fast pace
3.5 mile run with one walking break
2.5 mile run at fast pace
4 mile run with one walking break
Week of Feb 28th:
3 mile run at fast pace
4.5 mile run with one break
3.5 mile run with no breaks
5 mile run with one break
Week of March 7:
4 mile run with no breaks
5.5 mile run with one break
5 mile run with short break if necessary
Rest on Friday and Saturday
10k on Sunday - goal : under 1 hour
