In a month where three cousins on my mother's side alone are getting married, I've just found out that my friend Jay is now engaged! His fiance, Kevin, is a real sweetheart, and I'm so happy for them. I can't think of a couple who is more deserving of the kind of happiness marriage can lend.

Makes me really wish we didn't have an a-hole in office and that same-sex marriage is federally legal. :-\
