I think the Admiral might have been paying attention to my last entry, to choose a location such as this. Giselle would have been so sad to miss it; I imagine she was born in a place such as this ( Read more... )

Well, if next month's crop disappoints, I'm sure the rest of us can chip in.

[Innocentface. It isn't very innocent.]

I'm just venturing out. My inmate's in company with another warden so looks like I'm to my own devices for this little while.

[OOC: Slowtime for work and phonetags, but Stildyne had to come be suave as hell]

I should hope so, Chief Stildyne, and should you require any particular diversions whilst in port, I would be happy to volunteer. Such welcome additions to our ranks deserve the best hospitality, naturally.

I'm just trying not to start an incident at the moment. Wouldn't mind a guide. Not even in the sense of innuendo. Does this happen often, in port, people forgetting who they are?

Well. Glad you're yourself; Arkady and Coordinator Narvin both are gone native.

Nice to see a friendly face. [And that the Marqis takes it in stride is easing a fraction of his native suspicion.]

It's not for everyone. It's only for persons like myself when the mood strikes us. For those that it pleases, it is a joy. For the rest, they can take or leave, but no one fails to take notice of any form of gesture, provided it's genuine.

It's odd. All the gestures and little things. Associate that more with my... my people. You'd call them. Where it's been a sheets-- can I say that? Good. Where there's a sheets relationship, there's rarely time for gifts and favors. But then I'm closer to my people than most of my sheets acquaintances.

[Which was going to be 'lovers' but that felt so odd to say in these parts.]
