Forgive my recent silence, my fellow denizens. Somehow, in spite of everything, I have been somewhat "under the weather." It's taking quite the toll on my Renate, honestly, for I haven't really the energy to run with her at present. I'm feeling much better now, however. [The mess caused by the book was bothering him, so he stood up from his bed and went to pick it up.]

[Iago sighs and moves to a more comfortable position on his bed before starting.]

Sylar. We've been talking for a while now about nothing really in particular, but I thought he might be useful. So when he approached me at dinner several nights ago to talk about a murder, I was intrigued. I didn't want to do it, Marquis. You know that's not how I work. I'm not an assassin. But I wanted to know who the target was, just in case it might be useful. He told me the name- Robert Capa- and then told me that if I went through with it, I should blame it on him.

[Again, Iago stood and began to pace.]

But that if I didn't do it, then I shouldn't betray him. Two days later, he told Judas and we are in this mess now.

[The soldier let out a soft sigh.]

I should have known he would. He was extremely interested in our relationship.
