It's not enough that I'm jumping through hoops for your damnable amusement, no! Forestalling my writing, making the rounds, as it were -- and then you put me with one dunderhead of a Warden after another and shake your head wondering why no progress has been made.

Perhaps you should start making those Wardens

A smelling little urchin by name of 'Ben Wade' [he says chattily as he picks up the brochures and examines the first.] After our first conversation and his failed attempt to intimidate me we have not spoken much.

[He's not making much eye contact or even really working around. The last time he was in really close quarters with this girl she was standing outside his door cutting herself. He's not certain what he should be doing now.]
