So, I've started going to Tai Chi Chuan class again. I was planning on going back to Yang style to help drop the stress and weight that I've piled on my body since I stopped practicing. I figured it would also help me regain my flexibility (flexibility is never a bad thing). However, I discovered that my teacher (yes, the Argentinian who brings home the gold when competing in China) has gone back to his Wu Style roots. So now I have a chance to start over with a more difficult form, which is exciting for me (for those interested, this is technically Northern Wu style, as opposed to Western Wu style...I know you were wondering).
So far, my legs are still sore but getting stronger -- Where the weight distribution between the legs in Yang style is 60/40, in Wu style it is 100/0. ooch.
