Hellooooo,
I got back from London last night thus ending my birthday period :)
Thankyou too everybody who made the effort to turn up to the party, and for cards/present/alcohol etc, it was without a doubt my best birthday ever..especially holly for all her effort bless her :)
The party was ace. I cant be bothered to go into detail because most people that matter and read this were there anyway...basically consisted of massive amounts of alcohol, drinking games, a landlord, road blocks and broken mobile phones. The morning after was hilarious....the most random, most fun, most entertaining couple of days ive had in a long time lol
London was also ace..we got buses everywhere because my mum was scared of the underground, which was a bit of an effort and took away the whole edge that i like about the tube in london, but still...we went to see chitty chitty bang bang in theatre, as well as billy elliot which was amazing..the boy who played him looked exactly like the one in the film, and was an amazing dancer..i get jealous when i see kids in theatre cuz i SO wish id have gone down that route while i had the chance. We went to leicester square, the trocadero centre (really funky shopping mall with a massive arcade at the top), all the way up oxford street/regent street/carnaby street...went to the tate yesterday which i always find quite interesting. The hotel was 4* and really lovely. I bought a hamleys teddy bear and clothes from topshop/miss selfridge which is twinned together and MASSIVE. But EVERYBODY was foreign..i mean everybody, except the tazi drivers. Which is the opposite of in nottingham....all the hotel staff, all shop/restaurant staff, everybody you ask for directions..it got annoying.
