Everything but the Kitchen Sink Cookies
or
Chocolate Cherry Walnut Oatmeal Cookies

I found a recipe for raisin oatmeal cookies on a back of this big box of oatmeal and decided- hey, I could go for some. Unfortunately, I had about half of the ingredients and a lot of other ingredients. So, I sort of made my own type using the original as a base.

They turned out pretty good, nice and crisp on the outside, chewy on the in. The color had an unfortunate purple tint to it, probably due to the fresh cherries' juices. But not an unappetizing color, just an...interesting one.

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp peanut butter
1 1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup fresh chopped cherries
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1 cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions

1. Mix together butter with sugar.
2. Mix and add flour, salt, baking soda
3. Blend in peanut butter
4. Add in oatmeal
5. Stir in cherries
6. Mix in chocolate chips
7. Blend in walnuts
8. Form into 1 tbsp-sized balls
9. Grease pan and cook in 350 oven for 20 mins.

Makes 2-dozen small cookies.

Enjoy!

Made 3-berry thumbprint cookies and pom-berry-lemon smoothies for 4th of July. :) They were good.

Now off to to Latin hw...quiz Monday, sigh. ONE MORE WEEK LEFT--WOHOOOOO!!!!
