Remember a while ago when I posted a few pictures of me where I had experimented with some purple makeup I had? Well, last night, while Patrick was on his computer playing video games and hogging the internet* (I don't have it on my computer yet), I decided to just look around through some old pictures. I came across those mentioned above, and I remembered that one in particular caught Patrick's eye a while back when I was going through my pictures before. I decided to print it out for him since I have a color printer and photo paper.
The first pictures I printed were too dark. Also, can someone explain this phenomenon to me? Whenever I print photographs on my printer, there are numerous lines visible that run horizontally all the way across the picture. Is that because the printer itself isn't the best quality or does it mean I'm running out of ink? I decided to adjust the brightness and contrast to see if that would help at all. It did. The first adjustment turned out looking quite cool, and is the reason why I am typing this post right now: to show it off.
It's under the cut, goof. The picture is a leetle big, but not HUGE.
I don't think I posted this picture before. Don't know why I didn't. I like the picture a lot because of the pose and the look on my face. I must not have been thinking properly or something.
UNFORTUNATELY, that picture is a little too different from the original that Patrick liked so well, so I toned down the contrast a lot in the second adjustment. The picture I printed out for him just ended up being a lighter version of the original, and the printer lines aren't as profound as they were in the first print I made.
So- yeah. I really liked how the first adjustment (Titled: Orangeish for obvious reasons) turned out and wanted to share. Hehe.
*No, Baby, I'm not complaining. Really.
