SO sorry that I haven’t gotten around to posting and celebrating (and going through the five stages of grief) for the finish of your epic Perennial. All I can say is that exams are a bitch and often leads to melodramatic angst and very little time (and then my computer blew up, then the internet, then I moved. For two weeks. Then I lost all my files etc...) But this isn’t a time for my whinnying, it’s a time to say how freakin proud and impressed I am with you for sticking this out and making something awesome for us to enjoy. Through out the year since Perennial started I’ve gone through some rough crap and a lot of the stories moral kept me up and taught me much, so y’know, it wasn’t just about the hot porn and the hilarity of superhero hidden identities and super stalker freaks ;).
I gotta say Kirax, for all that you’ve completely thrown me of guard with how the story developed for a over a year, at the beginning of every month (which is really hard to accomplish seeing as I am hard to surprise with fiction), I so saw that ending coming, and it filled me with happiness :). They can marry with the theme of red and black I say.
This is a celebratory gift as a signal to the end of the story but as you know I had several other pictures I was gonna put up when my flimsy motivation hit me so even though not all of them may see the light I’ll certainly put up some more art for this story. Then there’s KoRA by Kirax and Iesika of course which I sooo need to draw ;)
Oh btw, kudos about that Doctor Mid-nite wink. Tim may become a superhero after all and he’ll still have the condom sui- I mean, some Red Robin look alike costume as the docs side-kick.
... And how about that reboot huh? I really don't know how to feel about it so I decided to not care until the shit hits the fan.
