Well, no, that's not entirely true. I wrote a really hot LOTR fic once... it was Glorfindel/Erestor. My crowning moment of smut writing... I needed smutty fluff after writing an incredibly angsty two-part darkfic with them.

Awesome. I prefer Legolas and Aragorn myself, but mostly because I'm deeply and commitedly in love with Orlando Bloom...

Haha, yeah, I hear ya... I like Legolas/Elrohir/Elladan, personally... but Glorfindel/Erestor are a particular soft spot of mine. And I wrote an Elrond/Erestor I'm intensely proud of, too. But that and my big Glorfindel/Erestor piece were incredibly angsty... I suck at fluff, generally speaking. It always mutates into angst.
