sunday in the sun;
alrightey, high time i made this post, because it's been in-the-making for a while, i guess. i've had the pics sitting uploaded on my host already but never really got around to spamming it, for about two weeks now. Uh, remember my Epic Doodle of Epic Proportions? from late last year? Turns out I haven't lost that skill and there's been a Return of the Epic Doodle of Epic Proportions, in a slightly smaller scale, that is nevertheless Epic, to me atleast. behold, my latest masterpiece from....the first of august, i think?
In other words, i really love my annual diary, that i use as a school-notebook (writing down things to remember, homework, important dates, etc etc) and a scrapbook for the year (Stickers from places i've been to that are interesting, tickets for things, photos, even) and I really don't know why, but i like to stick a lot of things in it and make it interesting and when i'm bored I can always rely on that to make me less bored and remind me of things that i want to remind myself. People tell me they like my diary-book-thingies for that year, and somehow i've been keeping one like this since 2005 i think? or 2004. they're terribly embarrassing at times, but the more recent ones form 2007 to 2010 are just wonderful reminders of the years i've had and especially the 2008 one because i got people to write me graduation messages in there and i've had people write and draw and contribute to my book in 2008.
people ask me hesitantly if they can see my book, and i'm always like "oh it's all yours! write whatever you want inside! scribble, doodle, write something down wherever you want!" and sometimes they do, but mostly they don't but i don't know. i like letting people see it because it's like letting them see a part of me that they probably doesn't know exists. i like to think it's kind of cool, though it could easily be seen as wannabe-hipster, but if it is i don't really care because i love it anyway.

So many stories behind these little things! I'll tell you about anything you ask me about! This really reminds me that this year's not as bad as it feels sometimes. There have been so many good little moments that totally overshadow the occasional blah-ness. So yeah, keep smiling and remember the good days!
