glee is about opening yourself up to JOY

okay everyone knows GLEE is awesome and amazing and everything anybody could want in a TV show(anyone being anyone with taste like me, i guess) and if you pay a strange amount, you could watch Glee on cable when it starts! Saying this was an advertisement which I obviously just had to cut out, so now it's on my noticeboard and that meant reshuffling time! Under the cut are pics. they are large and eat space and of surprisingly bad quality. I don't know why they became all fuzzy. Nevertheless,

so yes anyway some little things added, um, the glee poster thingy most obviously(bye bye heroes poster but come ON, GLEE>>>>>>>heroes s3, but over the past few months i've added the Singapore flag I got from school from our national day celebrations (I guess a little pride can't hurt, besides I feel bad about the whole "throwing away a country's flag" thing because it does seem pretty evil), i added a paper flower from the bunch Vee made me for my 15th birthday that have been happily sitting in my cupboard for two year now,OHO the uh weird eyes on the orange hairband! it's from my guitar concert which was in may (we were playing Under The Sea from The Little Mermaid and we all wore similar hairbands like that with "Crab Eyes" to look like Sebastian! People said it was quite adorable. I think it's adorable.) On a random note, i must add that i really love that "I <3 TV" thing i cut out from somewhere. It's so awesome. I guess if you're observant, you might notice two little thingies sticking out from the Glee poster and if you're super observant you might realise they're actually tags from Tazo Tea Bags(but they're so pretty and the tea was amazing, so I just stuck them in the side hehe).

On the whole, my desk is still a mess, but I love my noticeboards and the regular additions/removals make it quite fun to maintain. Once again, if you're wondering what something on the boards is/is supposed to mean, leave a comment and i'm sure you'll have an entertaining story to hear because most of the stuff up there have stories behind them and they're memorable, obviously.

Yesterday my dad got an F1 poster while walking down Orchard Road and he gave it to me and since it looked pretty cool and I'm quite an F1 fangirl I put it up in what is pretty much the only wallspace left in my room which isn't necessarily a bad thing because the paint is completely peeling off and I'm doing my best to cover it all up with cool stuff so yeah:D Singapore's the only country with a NIGHT RACE in the F1 season! It was so much fun to watch on TV last year, hopefully this year is awesome too!

So yes. F1 poster sits between V for Vendetta and my Mraz poster. And the other stuff in that picture is like half of my "movie poster wall" which is kind of falling apart because the blu-tack keeps drying up in the humidity and heat and i have to keep putting them back up.

on a completely different note, we got a new light for our dining room and it is very pretty. I took pics of it to send to my sis in the US because it's fun to do things like that, but I ended up trying to take shots from different angles and with just that light on in the house these two pictures turned out a lot prettier than i'd hoped them to turn out. So up on the blog they go.

Summarising my weekend, I woke up saturday morning disturbed by hacking going on the house below mine (my dad mentioned something about breaking a wall to get to the air conditioning-something of the house below ours while i was half asleep in bed) and damn, never before have i been so annoyed at people hacking at things with drills and hammers. i mean who does that on a saturday morning at like 8am? anyway so i woke up very awake (which happens rarely)  and then later during tuition we had a change of rooms and we got a new room with a new air conditioner and it was freezing and for some reason there was ridiculous traffic on Orchard Road i think because vehicles were just honking and honking away noisily and it was quite distracting. Either way I had dinner with my parents at this one Inidan place on Orchard road which my parents used to go to all the time and just as we planned to go get ice cream from Haagen-Daaz, one waiter gave us all a scoop of chocolate ice cream saying it was on the house. (he later said it was his birthday when we asked him if it was for any special occasion, but then again i don't know how far that's true. i'd like to think it was his birthday and he was giving everyone ice cream but it might just be that as a relatively fancy place in a super expensive area, they might need to do little things like that to keep customers around) so all three of us were very happy and satisfied and contended and full, so we walked around Orchard Central(a HUGE new mall) which is really quite pretty and there were these paintings on display there which were really, really beautiful. They did cost like $21,000 but they were really beautiful. Today I had dance class in the morning and it was extremely satisfying because we learnt a whole dance in less than 30 minutes! It proves that we've got a lot of the fundamentals down because we were just told some minor changes and we could work most of it out ourselves. It felt good, at any rate. Did some work in the afternoon, and shall go do more work now!

Have a lovely week ahead of you guys!
