i just had the most awesome day ever.
REASONS WHY TODAY WAS AWESOME ( in no order):
1. i finally wore this purple top which bangendedscoot got for her birthday, but for some reason never wore. it's this gorgeous shade of purple and it matches my glasses!
2.i was hanging out with falulatonks , snoorella and arkans_14 who are awesome people
3. we ate at new york new york!
4. we finally tried fried mars bars(not bad, but not exactly a favourite of mine)
5. our conversations changed topic about every three lines
6. we did, somehow, talk about the toilet issue in cedar(the lack of toilets and the ancient plumbing system)
7. we commented on the music playing while eating.(eg, cringing when they played Beautiful Girls)
8. we finally saw the whole chicken which i have known is available there. we wondered how people can eat a whole chicken and i quoted HIMYM
9. we quoted HIMYM or something related to that about every few sentences
10. after eating, we took about ten minutes, three brains and two handphones to sort of the money.
11. insanely happy with our awesome meals which were scarily unhealthy, we went next door to HMV!
12. we saw lots and lots and lots of good movies and music at HMV and cringed at the awful stuff like Camp Rock and HSM
13. I didn't find my Drake and Josh season DVDs, but I found a very cool music concert DVDs inclusing John Mayer's 'Where Is The Light' concert, Jason Mraz's 'Tonight Not Again' concert aaaaaaaaaand,GOO GOO DOLLS: LIVE IN BUFFALO (all of which I hugged, thinking that this is the closest i will ever get to them, and made it very clear that it would be a pleasant surprise to get the Live in Buffalo for my birthday, winkwinknudgenudgepokepokecoughcough)
14. We laughed at the bad singing of a PCD song....which one? Uhhh. When i Grow Up or something. Something about how in the chorus, groupies sounds like boobies.
15. I didn't find Drake's albums either, sad sad.
16. We did the Mamma Mia dance shamelessly when the song played.
17. We ranted about Rent, The Beatles aaaaaaaand how strange TV show ratings are. (THE OFFICE US IS M18 WHAT THE HELL?)
18.We walked up and down CityLink Mall about three times
19. falulatonks almost walked into a male toilet and I stopped her by shouting unnecessarily loudly.
20. Our friend arkans_14 decided to drop by to make the day more awesome.
21. We complimented arkans_14 on how she looked younger than all three of us, and she was happy.
22. Whenever snoorella wants to be mature, and not treated her real age, she makes people treat her her age on Facebook.
23. We went to Gelare for Waffles-at-half-price Tuesdays.
24. While there, falulatonks and i decided not to eat anything for we were full and had 'enough of chocolatey junk food' but changed our minds after seeing the glorious Chocolate Chip Waffle with Chocolate and Cookies and Cream ice cream.
25. We tried to eat melted ice cream with forks.
26. snoorella was using a KNIFE as a SPOON and we were trying to convince her that someone would call Samaritans of Singapore.
27. We made about one million HIMYM jokes/ reasons to high five randomly in the half hour we were at Gelare.
28. I have a new message tone and am happy to let anyone interested and knowledgable to listen to it and BASK IN ITS GLORY.
29.We had intellectual conversations on Anagrams and Palindromes while waiting for the waffles at Gelare.
30. I came up with the grand scheme that the Flowerhood should totally go on so called backpacking trips to cool places when we're older and make a Flowerhood line of book travel guides for Indians to places! It would sell like bhel puri.
31. I finally learnt what Miley Cyrus has to do with Bolt.(she voices a character.interesting.)
32. We went to MPH and saw lots of nice books.
33. However, it is sad that we only had to take ONE step into the bookshop to see a Twilight book. We were very, very sad.
34. We were appalled at Children's/ Young Adult books these days. They're either terribly scandalous, or just very veyr inappopriate.
35. We saw Necropolis, By Royal Command and City of Ashes and fangirled them.
36. We saw the box set of the Alex Rider novels and also fangirled them.
37. We laughed at TeenVogue and were mildly amused at "Inappopriate For The Young" sticker on Cosmopolitan
38. snoorella finally learnt what Lewis Carroll wrote, though she needed prompting even after I said "Someone in Wonderland"
39. We ogled at Sandman Graphic Novels, as usual.
40. We took the bunch of 'I'm Gifted So Are You' crap books by Adam Khoo and turned them around, so that the spine and covers couldn't be seen. I did this at a Times at Plaza Singapura, so falulatonks did this today.
41. We found two biographies of Amy Winehouse and were surprised to see them.
42. I told falulatonks about a biography of Joss Whedon I saw at a Kinokuniya and we fangirled that while it wasn't even in the store.
43. falulatonks and I high-fived about fifty times today, for everything ranging from "OMG WE'RE BOTH WEARING PURPLE, HIGH FIVE!" to "WE DON'T HAVE TAMIL ANYMORE, HIGH FIVE!"

45. We went into a Six shop, and tried to find pink dinosaur earrings. We didn't, but we found lots of other pretty, overpriced things.
46. falulatonks and I were the only ones who didn't spill ice cream on the table while eating the waffle. Therefore, my clean white tee is SAFE and blemish-less.
47. I saw an interesting guy on the bus on the way home who was wearing a VERY Jason Mraz hat. The hate was all sorts of awesome. The dude, I dunno.
48. I finally have Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox to read
49. I know that I will see all three people again within about four days, how awesome is that?
50. I has SUCH a great time, and only spent twenty dollars! (well, excluding bus/train fares, but that's a card, so it doesn't really count)
